i bought a cheap compaq (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01420138%26amp;cc=us%26amp;dlc=en%26amp;lc=en) last Christmas mostly for the vista license and the monitor. since then, i got new ram (2x 4gb) a new video card (nvidia geforce 8800 gts) a new power supply (Thermaltake TR2 W0070RUC 430W ATX12V) and some cheap new case that my local computer supply store had on sale. the model or brand isnt on the case or anything..
it's fully assembled. i know everything works because it used to turn on about once a day. i got smart and left it on for about a week so i wouldnt have to deal with the unreliability of it- and it got accidentally unplugged. now it wont turn on at all. its been about 3 days since it was unplugged. i know the power is all hooked up right because the power swich LED and the HDD LED works.
any ideas why it wont turn on? i think it is the cheap case, but i need someones opinion before i buy a new one. in these links, are pics of the case. if anyone can recognize it, the make%26amp;model would be greatly appreciated :D

mmm... i'm having the exact same problem! any help would be appreciated.New computer case help?
There could be several reasons why it will not boot. But considering the HDD lite is on it wouldn't be a PSU problem. It seems more likely that there is a problem with your mobo. Did you flash your bios at any point? You stated that you left it on for about a week so you wouldn't have to ';deal with the unreliability';. What unreliability are you referring to?
Firstly, why is it on a chair? It should be on the floor(more stable)
