I scratched my computer case... how can i get rid of the scratches?

I have a desktop... awesome specs too. just one bad thing:





i was cleaning it one day and this one's stubborn and water doesn't work with the case. also, the case is plastic. i mixed up the rubbing alcohol and the acetone and used acetone on the plastic case which lead to scratches since acetone breaks down some types of plastic.

and will this also help remove chips and scratches on my cellphone?





if that product will not help, can anyone recommend some technique/product that might help in this situation?

As wear and tear goes, scars and scratches are a part of life in anything from cars to cell phones. Wear them with pride and achievement rather than despair. If you think that product might help then give it a shot, I doubt it will. You want it to just wipe away like magic but I highly doubt it will work the way you want it to. For future reference a great and cheap cleaning solution is a mixture of vinegar and water. It can clean just about any surface and it works great. Google it. All you need to do is get some wood based polish (because your case looks to have some kind of wooden finish) and buff it out.
