No. Maybe just the hard drive, if you duct tape it to the case - since it is smaller than tower case hard drives.

For the hard drive you will need a 2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter, depending if it's a sata or ide connection is also taken into account when looking for this adapter. As for the optical drive, you will need a similar adapter but with little to no guarantee that the drive will work correctly since drivers are usually propriety to the laptop in question.
