Can I take the inside components of my Dell Slim computer and istall them into a normal tower case?

No. Maybe just the hard drive, if you duct tape it to the case - since it is smaller than tower case hard drives.

RAM, for example, uses half-sized connectors in laptops, so it won't work at all.Can I take the inside components of my Dell Slim computer and istall them into a normal tower case?
If your Dell slim computer is a laptop then you can only use two things from it. The optical drive and the hard drive. For the hard drive you will need a 2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter, depending if it's a sata or ide connection is also taken into account when looking for this adapter. As for the optical drive, you will need a similar adapter but with little to no guarantee that the drive will work correctly since drivers are usually propriety to the laptop in question.

The last technically feasible component is the screen itself, being able to modify it as a standard vga screen but there is a high level of technical experience needed to complete this modification. Can I take the inside components of my Dell Slim computer and istall them into a normal tower case?
