OK, i have an e Machines W3653 computer right now. i am thinking of buying a new case for Christmas just because this one can't house a liquid cooling system which i will buy later on. I have my eyes on a Thermal take VH8000BWS Armor + MX ATX Mid-Tower Case. i want to know the dangers and implications of switching all my components into the new case. i know for a fact that hard disk and optical drives, etc.. will be an easy task but how do i transfer the motherboard without damaging it.....i also wish to know if when i transfer all my components to the new case, wil my operating system keep the system files? nevertheless i am going to back up my personal files...
P.S should i get the thermaltake or should i get the Coolermaster Cosmos?
Thank youChanging computer case?
If your case just not large enough? I mean if you need the holes for the pipes that's pretty easy mod you can do yourself. The Cosmos is a little too sheek and businesslike for me, you really can't beat the glory of clear side windows with blue led fans with a liquid cooling system displayed, its glorious. Thermaltake definitely.
Yeah you not going to lose any files and switching components over can sometimes be a tedious task because you have to replug in everything from the PSU which is kind of a pain.Changing computer case?
Transferring the mobo is easy, just a few more steps after doing the drives (you'll probably have to remove the PCI cards, but you can leave the memory and processor+fan in place during the move). Your OS will keep the system files during the move. If you have your eye on a liquid cooling system from Coolermaster, use their case, but ThermalTake is a great brand too.
what ever one yu want, pick one thats good looking at roomy and well ventilated
