My front intake fan wore out. I think the bearings went bad. It is 5 years old anyways. But my computer itself is new. I still got the exhuast fan working But I took off the panel for better ventilation. Is that ok or should I keep it closed. I dont Want my cpu overheatingIs it ok to leave my computer case open until I get case fans?
It's okay to leave the case open, as long as you don't have inquisitive pets.
Usually one exhaust fan is all that is needed for cooling, unless you've got a high powered cpu and video card. Thermal protection is built into modern cpus, so they'll slow themselves down rather than overheat.
