Drilling into a Computer case?

Hello,

i don't know if this is the best place to ask this, but here it is:

I own a HAF 932 PC case, and i have 2 cold cathode lights installed. I am sick of switching them on and off from the back of my case and i decided i wanted to install a switch on the front. so i went to radioshack and got a couple switches. Ive installed the switches and they work great, but I'm not much of a modder and i wasn't sure how to install these switches onto my case. ive seen people has switches mounted onto the case and some Drive bay covers, and i would really like to know how they did that.Drilling into a Computer case?
Drilling into a drive bay cover is probably your best bet. That are plastic, they can be removed, thereby removing the possibility of drilling into something you had not planned on or finding the place you've chosen will not allow installation of the switches.

just drill a hole where ever you want your switch and wire it up. you're not going to mess anything up just by drilling a hole, unless you set it in the wrong place. I would advice doing this while the computer is off though!
get a big flat piece of wood, take the side panel off (youre making the hole in the side panel, right?) lay it on the wood, and drill a hole.

if its in the front, thats a whole other issue.
