This is for my A-level business studies research. If you don't mind please put a yes or a no, and your age and gender. The basic concept is producing custom built computer cases to fit YOUR interior design. The case is the bit that houses the internal components of the computer. So not necessarily something geeky and pimped out, perhaps to blend nicely with your furniture. The business aims to produce high quality, stylish cases, something apple mac seems to have captured pretty well. Don't need to take price or nething into considoration, just simply if you like the idea or not.
ThanksWould you buy a customised computer case that fits in with your home interior design?
I already do have that!! If you are taking in the landscape on what might sell I would say maybe something in true wood cases! Those of us who are older can easily afford such top end stuff, but finding anything like that is near impossible.Would you buy a customised computer case that fits in with your home interior design?
nope, aged 18, male
I think that would be sweet. One thing I hate about most computer setups is that the case is either (a) crazy spaceage with lights and crap (like AlienWare) or (b) they look like a big blob of plastic. Something that fit my decor in my home office would be great!
I'm a 27yr old guy.

Looking for a Plain Black computer case.?
Need help looking for a case.
Black (or white if need be, I can always paint it)
Full Tower
(preferably a front door but thats not necessary)
The plainer the better but if theres a fan panel on the side thats fine, I'm just going to cut that out anyways.
No latch on the side
Price range is about $0-200
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Is a really good example but I would rather not spend that much on a case I'm going to be cutting up.
Thanks a bunch for your help.Looking for a Plain Black computer case.?
Search for antec cases, they are pretty plain looking.

Monitor is electrifying my computer case?
My computer is not plugged in, however, when I plug in the monitor to my computer, the computer case becomes electrified and gives me a continuous shock when I touch it.
I touched the mettle parts of the LCD monitor (i.e. screws on back and VESA mounts) and the tip of DVI cord but I didn't get any direct shocks from the monitor.
I didn't know this was possible. At first I thought maybe my motherboard wasn't grounded properly (I just received my computer in Jordan from being shipped from the US so I thought maybe a screw was loose) but when I unplugged the PSU and the shock continued I realized it was coming from the monitor. I unplugged the monitor and the shock eventually disappeared as the the case was slowly discharged from me touching the case.
I live in Jordan so checking the ground on the monitor is out of the question. There is no grounding here. The cord has what I believe to be ground receptacles on the side of the end of the cord but there isn't anything that I can plug into that has matching mettle sensors to receive the ground (I have seen them in some buildings but not in my apartment).
Does anyone have any other suggestions?Monitor is electrifying my computer case?
You can use negative as your ground! :) Just rewire the cable if you are feeling brave
It鈥檚 likely your apartment actually grounds out the negative anyways as its common in under developed areas (even in the US).
This might be crude but I have worked in areas that I have had to do things like this. Personally i would tape or screw a little wire from the case to a metal or copper water pipe in the building, though if that doesn鈥檛 work everyone will be shocked a little when they try turn on the water (like touching your case), which in its self may be worth it.
Extra:
i gave you 2 options :)
Both should work fine, if you don鈥檛 know what the negative is don鈥檛 rip cord apart and start connecting wires!
The main objective is to make it ground on something else besides you, so a radiator or something else should work. I picked the metal piping for the sink because it will always have a good ground. This is comon sense to me to its hard to explaine it to some one else.north face book bags

Beeping sound coming from computer case, then windows fails to boot?
I was playing a game, and suddenly a short, constant beeping sound started coming from my computer case. I closed out of the game, and it was still there. So I then restarted, and all the windows that usually flash by very quickly in a regular start up took forever to load, and when it finally almost got to the windows screen it gives me this error.
\Boot\ BCD
Status: 0xc000000e
An error occurred while attempting to read the boot configuration data
I put in the windows install disc, did repair, system startup repair thing, and it said it didn't detect the problem. Some things seem different during the slow start up too, but that could just be me, usually they go by really quickly so I'm not sure I knew what it all looked like very well originally, although I believe one of my back up hard drives does not show up. Even if it did fail, however, it shouldn't affect my primary hard drive, would it? Any advice on the matter would be GREATLY appreciated, I really need my computer to boot again. Thanks in advance.
Beeping sound coming from computer case, then windows fails to boot?
The solution is:
Use WinPE disk, and then switch to a new drive system Division: windows \ system32 directory
Directory order for the switch:
Code: cd c: \ windows \ system32
C: drive letter for the district system
Following three running order:
Code: bcdedit / set (default) osdevice boot
bcdedit / set (default) device boot
bcdedit / set (default) detecthal 1

with your choices, duke casing is the best. although astone has a glossy outside paint. but duke gives you a better airflow since its mesh type. also, try to search for achilles from frontier casings i think. same manufacturer of duke i think. its also a good case.
but haf 932, antec 902, gigabyte sumo 5115, cosmos s are good high end casings.
HTHWhich is the best computer case(ATX)?
Since your mother board is micro atx you need to get a computer that is compatible with micro atx motherboards. This means that the screw holes on the computer case will match with the ones on the motherboard. I recommend you look here for Micro Atx computer cases:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis鈥?/a>
I already selected a mid tower and micro atx cases for you on this link. A mid tower is the same as a medium size computer case. It is not too big and not too small.
From your list the Astone is the only one that will work for your motherboard.I recommend that you buy the case and the power supply separately because the bundled power supplies are usually low quality and if it fails it may damage your other computer parts that are connected to it. Buy a quality power supply. I recommend you get a Corsair Brand power supply.
That all depends on how you define ';best';. Do you mean:
- Best price?
- Most features?
- Best value?
- Lightest weight?
- Best warranty?
- Best reputation of maker?
- Best fit to YOUR needs?
- Some combination of these?
Antec 902 for midtower
Antec 1200 for fulltower
Most cases have everything needed. I look for most airflow or biggest or most fans. Reason being a cool cpu is a good cpu. Heat shortens the life of your pc.
if your going on just for looks then dont bother because its a desktop you wont really see it

IS this case worth the money

One thing I will tell you is I would be very leery of buying a case that comes with a PSU for $99. Look around and see what a good PSU will cost you alone. Most good power supplies are going to be over $75-$80. So you are either getting a good case and a cheap PSU or the other way around. Is this a good computer case? Please just take a look?

try another case its not dat good...north face book bags

What is the best computer case fan configuration?
I am about to build my first computer. I am trying to decide how to configure my case fan(s). Here are the fan locations on my case:
80mm front bottom
80mm rear top
120mm side
I was originally going to stick with the old method of front bottom fan sucking with rear top fan blowing. Then I started thinking of a way to incorporate the side fan location. Now I read the results of a test stating that only using a single rear exhaust fan yields the best results (link follows). Im stumped. Any advice would be appreciated. http://icrontic.com/articles/pc_airflow_heat_cooling_guideWhat is the best computer case fan configuration?
Have the front and side pulling air in with the back fan pushing it out. My setup is similar but I have 120mm front, 80mm side and 120mm in the rear. That's how I do it and it works really well. The side fan pulls air right to the CPU while the front fan hits the hard drive and video card.

I've built my own computer, too, and I really like my Thermaltake Armor Series full tower. It's a beast, but it keeps everything nice and cool and definitely has room for upgrades. = )
So I would recommend Thermaltake. Good luck! What brand of a COMPUTER CASE should i get?
OK, my original post was a sincere wish to help you, but your admixture of demandingness and superior tone has caused me to delete my suggestions. Learn how to phrase a question...and learn a bit of humility, rookie!
The current hot case is the Bilgewater Sumppump DSR-43317, It comes with a liquid urine cooling system, which the engineers are saying is really hot.

First of all, Dont give me any crap telling me that is not going to be cheap, i all ready know that, I dont really care how much its going to cost me. as long as i have the money, its my money, and i will spend it on what i want. so if any one is going to input on how its not cheap and crap, well just dont tell me that at all, i only wanted a answer to the Question i asked. and thats about Computer Case Brands.**
Thank YouWhat brand of a COMPUTER CASE should i get?

Why doesn't My Computer Case Have That Windows XP Logo on the Front??
Ever since i had my Black Computer Case since 2003
Here it is: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/鈥?/a>
I notice that the Front of it, it does not Have the

This is the Logo that i am talking about:

Most of the Computers i have seen a few years ago, they would always have that Logo, But on mines, it Does Not...
does yours have the Windows XP Logo??Why doesn't My Computer Case Have That Windows XP Logo on the Front??
Yours doesn't have it because it is custom built... meaning someone bought all the parts and put it together themselves.

What is a good, light computer case that i can buy to use as my LAN box?
I'm looking to make a simple pc just for taking around to mates houses and having lan parties, and i want a decent case/tower that looks good and is reasonably light to carry. I don't want to spend anything over $200 and i have looked at some cases and can't really decide. i am not really keen on the thermaltake LANbox, because i already have a motherboard to use in my system, but i wont fit in the LANbox. any suggestions of cases/towers that will be good for LAN and light to carry around will be helpful, and if possible i would like to have some LED's pimping out of it... thanksWhat is a good, light computer case that i can buy to use as my LAN box?

This is comon sense to me to its hard to explaine it to some one else.

with your choices, duke casing is the best. although astone has a glossy outside paint. but duke gives you a better airflow since its mesh type. also, try to search for achilles from frontier casings i think. same manufacturer of duke i think. its also a good case.
but haf 932, antec 902, gigabyte sumo 5115, cosmos s are good high end casings.

The side fan pulls air right to the CPU while the front fan hits the hard drive and video card.north face book bags

IS this case worth the money
Thanks so much for your helpIs this a good computer case? Please just take a look?
One thing I will tell you is I would be very leery of buying a case that comes with a PSU for $99. Look around and see what a good PSU will cost you alone. Most good power supplies are going to be over $75-$80. So you are either getting a good case and a cheap PSU or the other way around. Is this a good computer case? Please just take a look?
well..its your money..yes , that motherboard will fit….
I never heard of the brand,,,,but it’s a cheap case..i paid $200 for my coolermaster without the psu…I doin,t understand the 300 w marked to 500watts…that woud be a red flag to me…as a rule..case bought with psu is cheaper than buying the 2 intems separate…
try another case its not dat good…

with your choices, duke casing is the best. although astone has a glossy outside paint. but duke gives you a better airflow since its mesh type. also, try to search for achilles from frontier casings i think. same manufacturer of duke i think. its also a good case.
but haf 932, antec 902, gigabyte sumo 5115, cosmos s are good high end casings.

The side fan pulls air right to the CPU while the front fan hits the hard drive and video card.north face book bags

Is this a good computer case? Please just take a look?
http://www.mtechcomputers.com.au/product
I need to fit this inside: http://www.evga.com/products/moreInfo.as鈥?/a>
also it will have TWO graphics cards and a Intel Core i7 processor.
Is the fan good enough?
and what does it mean that the powersupply is 300w marked to 500w
(I need 500w minimum)

Why doesn't My Computer Case Have That Windows XP Logo on the Front??
Ever since i had my Black Computer Case since 2003
Here it is: http://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/鈥?/a>
I notice that the Front of it, it does not Have the
';Certified for Windows XP Logo';
This is the Logo that i am talking about:
http://testou.free.fr/www.microsoft.com/鈥?/a>
Most of the Computers i have seen a few years ago, they would always have that Logo, But on mines, it Does Not...
does yours have the Windows XP Logo??Why doesn't My Computer Case Have That Windows XP Logo on the Front??
Yours doesn't have it because it is custom built... meaning someone bought all the parts and put it together themselves.

A Good Computer Case That Will Fit An 9800 GTX In It %26amp; That Is $65 Or Less.Recommend A Good Computer Case?
Cooler Master 690, I just ordered mine for my 9800GTX build yesterday ;)Recommend A Good Computer Case?
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Thats 69.99 and it has, great cooling, lighting and it's black. Just make sure you get a better power supply such as a 700w. And if there is enough room left when your done building you might be able to have 2 power supplies (450W + 700W = 1150W).
The case you chose was more than $65.
And it can fit a 9800 GX2.
But if for some reason you can't afford it to be $5 more then this is a good case. It has 3 fans. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
thats just style of graphics card, you need to know if its low profile or w/e or just standard

Ways to get computer case replaced?
My computer case smells like f*cking sh*t even if the power is off and I told the place i bought it from that i want it replaced as it pollutes my whole f*cking room but the douche bags told me they cant replace it or refund it unless its ';faulty'; wtf can i say or do so i can get this crap refunded?Ways to get computer case replaced?
If you talked to them in the same manner that you write like here, I wouldn't expect too much. I have found that a firm but polite manner is paramount when trying to get someone to co-operate. This applies in bars and restaurants as well as with the tax man. A well spoken respectful request will get a more reasonable response. I suspect in your case you have completely burnt your bridge. Physical violence is a strict no no.
On a different tack, perhaps you could remove the contents of your case and wipe it out with a solvent. I think you may object to the smell of preservative coating that seems to cover cases these days. It can tend to smell stronger when your machine heats up.
Good luck.Ways to get computer case replaced?
It's complicated.
Basically you have to take everything out by hand. ( Cables first, then components, etc ). Lots of unscrewing and handling of sensitive equipment. It's definitely doable, but it'll take about 2-3 hours and a lot of attention. Don't hurry, and be calm about it. Look for tutorials online first.
About a refund, I wouldn't dream about it. The stores don't replace components that actually don't work, much less ones that work but ';smell funny';. That's how they win money.
Best of luck!
I would buy a new case, transfer my hardware, take the only case, sh*t in it, and slam it through the window of the assholes you bought it from.

Building my own computer...case/power supply question.?
I've always been into computers, started taking them apart and puting them back together in the 6th grade or so. Once I hit highschool my focus changed to football and other highschool related things, but now that I'm out on my own I've started back to computer repairs (mainly on my own computer =/)
Anyways-I've decided to build my own computer since I never had the funds to build an entire computer before. I'm not looking to do anything ridiculous, just a normal computer for every day needs. I'm wanting to use a AMD 64 3000+ %26amp; nForce Motherboard (AMD Sempron), I've got the hard drive/dvd drives picked out as well, but I'm not sure what to do for the case and Power supply?
I've replaced Power Supplys before-but I've always just gotten the one that was compatible for my computer. How can I tell what case/power supply will work with the setup I've picked out?
Thanks!Building my own computer...case/power supply question.?
well for the case i suggest Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail for 110 dollars
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
and for the power supply i suggest to get CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply - Retail it is for 119 dollars
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Building my own computer...case/power supply question.?
Building your own system is allways a good thing to do :)
with regards to the case you can have what ever style you want some even come with PSUs (power supply units).
But if the case you want does not come with one, you should think about getting a 500 watt PSU that should be enough for your systems.
Happy building.

I scratched my computer case... how can i get rid of the scratches?
Hello
I have a desktop... awesome specs too. just one bad thing:
i was cleaning it one day and this one's stubborn and water doesn't work with the case. also, the case is plastic. i mixed up the rubbing alcohol and the acetone and used acetone on the plastic case which lead to scratches since acetone breaks down some types of plastic.
here are some pics of the damage:

http://i34.tinypic.com/1z1uvbn.jpg
how can i get rid of the scratches? do you think this product will help?: http://www.ccrane.com/radios/radio-acces鈥?/a>
and will this also help remove chips and scratches on my cellphone?
if that product will not help, can anyone recommend some technique/product that might help in this situation?
Thanks! Your help is appreciated.I scratched my computer case... how can i get rid of the scratches?
As wear and tear goes, scars and scratches are a part of life in anything from cars to cell phones. Wear them with pride and achievement rather than despair. If you think that product might help then give it a shot, I doubt it will. You want it to just wipe away like magic but I highly doubt it will work the way you want it to. For future reference a great and cheap cleaning solution is a mixture of vinegar and water. It can clean just about any surface and it works great. Google it. Good luck!I scratched my computer case... how can i get rid of the scratches?
All you need to do is get some wood based polish (because your case looks to have some kind of wooden finish) and buff it out.

Looking for BTX computer case and BTX motherboards?
BTX motherboards and BTX computer cases are fairly new in the computer industry, but are the next generation of the motherboard/computer case combo.
The case allows airflow directly over the heat sink and ultimately eliminates the use of a CPU fan. The BTX motherboard has a shift in the north bridge to south bridge's. The CPU is rotated 45 degrees, which also sits farther away from the different bus connectors (PCI express x16, PCI express x1 slots, and so on), and also connects to a merely 8 more data bus lines. All that is different from the well known ATX motherboards/cases.
My question is where do I find them? I have looked at www.newegg.com and www.tigerdirect.com, with no luck.
Thanks in advanceLooking for BTX computer case and BTX motherboards?
There are places to find what you're looking for (although I don't know offhand), but with all the good things I've read about BTX, it's still very severely in the minority for choices among PC builders and enthusiasts alike. I'd go so far as to say it'd be a risky venture at best to build a system based upon the BTX form factor until we start seeing such systems demonstrating some marketability. A good AMD system based on an ATX form factor won't let you down, if built right, and will be easy on your wallet to boot.
TL;DR: BTX is probably not the way to go quite yet unless you have the cash to throw about and, in my opinion, are a true enthusiast with a high level of knowledge. Hope this helps. :)Looking for BTX computer case and BTX motherboards?

How do I open the computer case for a Compaq Presario S4020WM?
My friend gave me his super old computer and I wanted to mess with it to upgrade it. But the case has a single screw. I have removed it and still cannot open the computer case. There are no other screws on the case that can be removed just a series of small metal screw-like pieces with holes in them. Am i just not pulling the upper case hard enough or do I need a diff type of screwHow do I open the computer case for a Compaq Presario S4020WM?
-Pull the SIde up?
-Is there a leaver?
-Place it on Floor, with the side u want to open facing up, and place both palms on it ir really try slide it back...
-or maybe if really old, may need to open the other side and even the top of the case??????How do I open the computer case for a Compaq Presario S4020WM?
I don't know how to open it but looking at the spec you might need at least for xp is 1gb. The GPU is an AGP so it will cost a lot. Also upgrade the hdd to a 7200 rpm ide.
When all else fails, read the manual:
1: Lay the PC on its side with the access panel
(the side with the pull grip) facing up.
2: Remove the access panel by loosening the
screw(s) 1 that secures the access panel to the
PC chassis. Slide the access panel back 2
about 1 inch (2.5 cm), and then lift it up and
off the unit.
Sounds like the cover is simply stuck in your casemake up foundation

Drilling into a Computer case?
Hello,
i don't know if this is the best place to ask this, but here it is:
I own a HAF 932 PC case, and i have 2 cold cathode lights installed. I am sick of switching them on and off from the back of my case and i decided i wanted to install a switch on the front. so i went to radioshack and got a couple switches. Ive installed the switches and they work great, but I'm not much of a modder and i wasn't sure how to install these switches onto my case. ive seen people has switches mounted onto the case and some Drive bay covers, and i would really like to know how they did that.Drilling into a Computer case?
Drilling into a drive bay cover is probably your best bet. That are plastic, they can be removed, thereby removing the possibility of drilling into something you had not planned on or finding the place you've chosen will not allow installation of the switches.
Good LuckDrilling into a Computer case?
just drill a hole where ever you want your switch and wire it up. you're not going to mess anything up just by drilling a hole, unless you set it in the wrong place. I would advice doing this while the computer is off though!
get a big flat piece of wood, take the side panel off (youre making the hole in the side panel, right?) lay it on the wood, and drill a hole.
if its in the front, thats a whole other issue.

Please recomend a computer case / ATX motherboard / and processor combo for gaming.?
My old amd 4200+ 2.2 Ghz dual core isn't cutting it on newer games. But my current motherboard is socket 939 and my case is micro atx with a really weird layout so I need a new case. So basically I have to replace all of that.
I already have a great video card, DVD drives, great power supply, and plenty of HD space so I only want to get those three items plus new RAM if needed for motherboard. Can anyone recommend the best, but still reasonably priced combo of the three. I don't want to have to deal with compatibility issues. I'm not hardcore or anything, I just want stuff to work. Please recomend a computer case / ATX motherboard / and processor combo for gaming.?
Motherboard $104: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Does crossfireX and also comes with ATI HD3300 onboard video.
Processor $67: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Amd Kuma dual core processor @ 2.7gHz with 2mb L3 cache (phenom platform)
Computer case $55: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Antec 300 case, comes with 140mm fan on top and 120mm in rear.(power supply goes on the bottom which is a much better design!)
It also has 2 spots in the front for 2 120mm fans
Case fans $5 each: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
These fans move a nice amount of air and have blue leds on them to give your case a nice look! This will keep all of your components nice and cool!
That is probably one of the best deals you will find for a nice motherboard, cpu, and computer case. Good luck! :)
Oh and you mentioned ram at the end.
G skill ddr2 (2 x 2gb) @ 1066 $43: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Since that processor is a phenom platform you can use ddr2 @ 1066 instead of 800! You should be able to run games quite smoothly now! :)

Need help choosing computer case for budget conscious gamer.?
Hello,
First of all, I never would've thought cases would be SO expensive. I've had my eye on this one,
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811156098
but I'm a little unsure if the PSupply has a 6-pin PCI-e connector.
Also, I was wondering if the 2 SATA connectors it comes with can support my SATA drive, AND SATA HDD. First time building a rig, but don't want to spend 100 bucks on a case plus another 100 on a PS. If it helps - I have:
Q6600 cpu w/ arctic 7 cooling
crucial ram
abit p35 pro m/b
and 3850 512mb radeon
...also might try overclocking (i'm a newb that wants to learn :) )
-Thank youNeed help choosing computer case for budget conscious gamer.?
Power supplies that come with cases do not last so you might as well spend the $ and buy a Power supply anyways.
What does it matter? if you like the case its not like it wont be unuseable when you go to upgrade your mother board and what not.
And if you look at pictures it shows the 6pin
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ShowImage.鈥?/a>
Yes the sata power is just fine for the two drives.Need help choosing computer case for budget conscious gamer.?
Look like this is your first pc build! First off try having as much as venation as possible! I would suggest a ThermalTake case and at least a 500 watt PSU from ULTRA.

I want a computer case for ?
Ok I haven't built a new computer yet but I'm planning it I basically want a computer case and power supply for this motherboard
GIGABYTE GA-EX58-UD3R
Link to the specs and pictures
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Moth鈥?/a>
so I want computer case for that motherboard reasonably good looking one but I don鈥檛 want to spend a lot on it I have no budget but the more low cost it the more I can spend on graphics card=) oh yea and a power supply that can handle a i7 and mid range graphics card thanks in advanceI want a computer case for ?
Well, probably the most functional and easy to use case I've had is the Thermaltake.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133075
It's built very smart with a good design.
But if you're looking for more style, the Antec 900 is a very good case.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129021%26amp;Tpk=Antec%20900
I've built two computers with the 900 and haven't had any trouble with either.
With the power supply, I recommend any Rosewill PSU. Just remember you get what you pay for when it comes to PSUs. Look for one with 500 or more watts.I want a computer case for ?
you should go to ebay time the hardware's name and it will give you every thing that you need they might be expensive and they might be cheap this is the web site

Well, probably the most functional and easy to use case I've had is the Thermaltake.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133075
It's built very smart with a good design.
But if you're looking for more style, the Antec 900 is a very good case.

It's a HP or a Compaq in which case it will be ATX ... a 500w PSU should set you back about $20 - $25 ... if it's an older HP/Compaq you may have to modify where the PSU sits as they had some funny sized PSU's which had a panel riveted into the case so they'd fit ... remove the riveted panel if necessary and any ATX PSU will fitWhat kind of computer case do i have?
Looks like an atx case. You can more than likely get at least a 450 watt psu that will fit.

My Spire Computer Case?
A couple of years ago, I was given a computer case by a friend. It had the spire logo on it, but i dont know any more info than that. It kinda looks like the Spire Blackfin, But the one i have has the power and reset buttons on the top. I went to the site, and they don't have it there, So it makes me think that I have the only on in the world. :-)
I also checked google images, ebay, and every other site on the planet. It is really driving me crazy beacuse it is the cheapest case i have ever had. Thanks in advance...My Spire Computer Case?
What is your question?

What is your question?
After a computer case switch, my hard drive and CD & DVD Drive not getting along now?
So, I bought a new tower case for my computer rig and transfer everything hardware wise over. Motherboard is screwed in, HDD is connected, and my two CD/DVD drives were connected, everything is hooked up and ready to go.
At first, I get the ominous ';Operating System Not Found';. I try again, hoping to get into the BIOS, but it won't even let me into that. Ok, well that sucks. I unhooked the CD and DVD drives from the Motherboard, and miraculously my Operating System was found, because my computer boots up as normal, right to Windows XP. Hmm. Why is it that when I want to incorporate my CD/DVD drives, it wants to pretend it can't find the OS on the HDD and won't even let me into BIOS? There were no disks in the CD/DVD drives either to cause any conflict. HELP!!After a computer case switch, my hard drive and CD %26amp; DVD Drive not getting along now?
It appears that the system is trying to boot from the CD/DVD drive. When you disconnect them then the system goes to the HDD to boot. You need to boot with the cd.dvd disconnected. Go into the Bios and change the boot order to boot from the HDD first. then power down and reconnect the CD/DVD drive and reboot. it should work. After a computer case switch, my hard drive and CD %26amp; DVD Drive not getting along now?
It is possible you are not pressing the right keystrokes or the BIOS is not set to recognize USB keyboards. This might explain why you can not enter the BIOS.
For the Operating system not found error: It seems that it is looking at the wrong place for the operating systems. You can ether set the BIOS to look in the hard drive first, but if you can not enter the BIOS. Try switching where the CD/DVD drives and Hard drives are connected to if you can.
IF they are both using the same IDE cable, make sure the hard drive is set to master and the cd is set to slave.
well its not the case switch. however something in the bios sounds like it was messed with. so my guess is that you have to make a primary and slave drives in the bios and with the jumpers
Make sure the motherboard is not contacting the case and shorting out. If it is it could be messing with your bios settings among other things.

About Gaming Computer case?
Well i don't know anything about computer
but i recently bought HP Q8200 6GB DDR and 1TB Hard Drive
and video card had a problem so i bought Asus Radeon HD 4870 and in order to power that i bought Rocketfish 700W Power supply.
And i realized my computer case is insanly small to install even and after installtion it has great chance to fry up. So i am looking for a enough spaced gaming computer case but I don't know where, what kind of size to buy, and how to transferr all of the hardwares into the new case... if there's any good advice or suggestion please let me knowAbout Gaming Computer case?
go to newegg.com and look at there cases they give the dimensions for them all. Really the main thing to be worried about is getting a case with the correct form factor that fits your mother board. As far as puting it all together google it its not hard.About Gaming Computer case?
buy it from here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLis鈥?/a>
Go to newegg.com and pick out just about any ATX mid-tower case. Keep in mind that you get what you pay for to a certain extent. You can get a very good case for 40 to 75 bucks, and you can spend hundreds on a so-called gaming case with all the bells and whistles and fancy lights. I've had very good luck with Rosewill cases and power supplies. Here's one I like a lot:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
It'll do the job for you, is easy to work with, has plenty of cooling fans and looks OK. It'll take ATX or uATX boards. It's also 20 bucks off and with free shipping. Good luck.

Motherboard and Computer Case Don't Match?
im planning on building my own computer...and im noticing in the computer case picture that where the motherboard goes, it doesnt match up with the motherboard components(usb ports, ethernet, vga adapter, etc...) will this be a problem, or is it just the picture??
the case supports atx motherboards and the motherboard i plan on using IS atx...

Both your links don't work. But the ports don't have to match up. If it's ATX, it will fit. The order of the ports on the back don't matter. If you buy a new motherboard, it will come with its own I/O plate:

The motherboard should come with another plate for the ports.
Of course it wont! Thats why the motherboard comes with a new panel insert!

My m923 computer case constantly beeps?
I have a Ultra M923 for a computer case, and with my other computers id have no problem and i wouldnt hear any beeping. With this one its so complicated, idk if its vista, the computer, or the case. But im putting my bets on the case seeing how it has all of these options on the display. Sometimes it would beep really fast once in a while i could press a button then its done. Just today I started it up then it beeped nonstop with no breaks inbetween. I restarted it, NOW its just doing 5 really loud beeps and idk what the problem is. Does anyone know were I can see a guide at for this so I can see what the problem is on how to solve it, Or does anyone know how to turn it off? thanks I appreciate it.My m923 computer case constantly beeps?
POST ABCs
The computer POST (Power On Self Test) tests the computer, insuring that it meets the necessary system requirements and that all hardware is working properly before starting the remainder of the boot process. If the computer passes the POST the computer will have a single beep (with some computer BIOS manufacturers it may beep twice) as the computer starts and the computer will continue to start normally. However, if the computer fails the POST, the computer will either not beep at all or will generate a beep code, which tells the user the source of the problem.
The steps of a POST
Each time the computer boots up the computer must past the POST. Below is the common steps a POST performs each time your computer starts.
1. Test the power supply to ensure that it is turned on and that it releases its reset signal.
2. CPU must exit the reset status mode and thereafter be able to execute instructions.
3. BIOS checksum must be valid, meaning that it must be readable.
4. CMOS checksum must be valid, meaning that it must be readable.
5. CPU must be able to read all forms of memory such as the memory controller, memory bus, and memory module.
6. The first 64KB of memory must be operational and have the capability to be read and written to and from, and capable of containing the POST code.
7. I/O bus / controller must be accessible.
8. I/O bus must be able to write / read from the video subsystem and be able to read all video RAM.
If the computer does not pass any of the above tests, your computer will receive an irregular POST. An irregular POST is a beep code that is different from the standard one or two beeps. This could be either no beeps at all or a combination of different beeps indicating what is causing the computer not to past the POST.

Motherboard and computer case?
Im want to buy a new computer case and im wondering if my motherboard will fit in this case.
Also i dunno about the ports i can see on the case the ports are different from my mother board..if this doesnt work can u find me a case for under $100? Thank you!!

Case: http://www.xoxide.com/xoxide-alien-x-case.html
ty this will really help me alot!Motherboard and computer case?
It will fit, almost every atx case I have seen will fit a microatx motherboard.
As for those ports. The metal plate cover for the ports should be removable and can replace the one on the new case. If the cover is not removable then contact ASUS (manufacturer of the motherboard) and request a cover for it.
It should be easier to remove the cover after taking out the motherboard.Motherboard and computer case?
The case will work, but the back plate on the back where the case and the motherboard meet, if that's attached to your current case, it's not going to work. You'll need to visit the motherboard manufacturer's website and request one.
the motherboard is micro atx , the case is atx , atx is bigger , however alot of ATX cases will be able to house a micro atx board but you'll have to check with the supplier first
thats a bloody awfull case btw ;0)

Is it bad to have computer running while the pc tower is open (side of case removed)?
my pc suffers badly in heat and often freezes/reset
ive taken the side of the tower off to clean it and now i leave an external fan on it to keep it cool.
this definlty works as my pc freezes almost as soon as i turn the fan off.
if i turn the fan off and put the side case on, will this keep it cooler than leaving the case off wioth no fan?Is it bad to have computer running while the pc tower is open (side of case removed)?
this is a band-aid for the problem; your cpu does not have sufficient cooling or the ventilation of your case is blocked by something. Is it bad to have computer running while the pc tower is open (side of case removed)?
Wont hurt the pc immediately but it will get very dusty inside the box if it is left open too long. Dust will affect the boards and circuitry. There is also a chance that some parts may be damaged by or cause damage to, other electronic equipment nearby. The box is earthed via the mains lead for this reason.
Apart from having to clean accumulated dust and insects (?), no problem. It is better than it overheating with the side on. Keeping it cool is important.
No, unless u don't let anything to get in ... like baby.

thanks! Is this computer case right for this motherboard?
You should just get a different mitherboard... the main type of case is ATX and most motherboards are ATX compatible. I think XFX is for servers...that means they will be gigantic...i recomend my motherboard the Asus M4A78T-E AM3, 790GX, HT5200, 4DDR3, 2PCIE2.0, RAID, VGA, GbLAN, 2FW, HDMI, ATXIs this computer case right for this motherboard?
Yes they're compatible they're both in the ATX form factor
It's confusing, I know, but ';XFX'; is a brand name, ';ATX'; and ';microATX'; are form factors (size-and-shape standards).
Yes, these ARE a good match.

Which midtower computer case?
I'm building a computer for the first time. I'm doing a XFX 9800GT x2 SLI with the ASUS P5N-D with a Intel C2Q Q6700 2.66GHz, 1 500GB Hitachi Internal Harddrive, a Sony optical drive, 8GB or DDR2 RAM and a Masscool Socket 775 CPU Cooling Fan. Will a midtower case have enough room for it?

I locked my computer case, Its a circular lock. I locked it a while ago. I need the parts out of the computer but I don't wants to damage the case. Not even a little. Not a scratch, I don't want to break the lock either or pick it. Someone told me to go to a computer store and ask about this but I'm Not exactly sure... The person told me to get a key from a computer store... Aparently one of these keys can open all of the tubular locks so, I need one. Where can I get one, How much will it cost. And what is it called?LOCKED MY COMPUTER CASE!!!!?
Think you're talking about tubular locks....
You might be thinking about a master key. It's unlikely (but still possible) that would be the case, as a master key is designed to open all of a (limited) set of locks.
Opening a lock without using a key specifically designed to open that lock is considered lock picking, so if the ';key'; isn't designed for a specific lock/set of locks it's considered a pick(rather than a key), as it's purpose it to defeat the security of the lock (ideally) without damaging the lock.
The following site/shop seems to have the kind of thing you would be looking for namely a ';tubular lock pick'; @ 拢64.99 (it's mentioned on the left hand panel) which picks the lock with very little effort from you. You need to count the number of pins in your lock to get the right tool. The AVI video on tubular lock picking explains how to use this kind of tool...

But since people on here are jerks, here's one that matches your description: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as鈥?/a>
Just check out some cases on http://www.tigerdirect.com or http://www.newegg.com and browse until u find one that is right for u.

Motherboard and computer case?
Im want to buy a new computer case and im wondering if my motherboard will fit in this case.
Also i dunno about the ports i can see on the case the ports are different from my mother board..if this doesnt work can u find me a case for under $100? Thank you!!
Motherboard: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00864946%26amp;lc=en%26amp;cc=us
Case: http://www.xoxide.com/xoxide-alien-x-case.html
ty this will really help me alot!Motherboard and computer case?

No, unless u don't let anything to get in ... like baby.

i dont know why but i dont understand when it says ATX and micro ATX are compatible but the motherboard says XFX. i dont wanna put the wrong motherboard in the case.
thanks! Is this computer case right for this motherboard?
Yes they're compatible they're both in the ATX form factorIs this computer case right for this motherboard?
It's confusing, I know, but ';XFX'; is a brand name, ';ATX'; and ';microATX'; are form factors (size-and-shape standards).
Yes, these ARE a good match.

You should just get a different mitherboard... the main type of case is ATX and most motherboards are ATX compatible. I think XFX is for servers...that means they will be gigantic...i recomend my motherboard the Asus M4A78T-E AM3, 790GX, HT5200, 4DDR3, 2PCIE2.0, RAID, VGA, GbLAN, 2FW, HDMI, ATX
